No, mailsync is unable to synchronize the read/unread status :-(

How did offlineimap? Does it correctly synchronize those flags?

The problem wit the flags - as far as I was able to figure it out - is that the 
c-client library (on which mailsync is based) claims sth along the lines of 
"once a mail has been accessed/read then the new flag will be removed and you 
can not set it any more". However transferring mails seems to be possible but 
not out of/towards all mailbox formats.

As I said, the key here is "as far as I have been able to figure out" - might 
also be that c-client has changed since then.

yes it does....

It also synchronise much quicker than mailsync.


However, it crashes from time to time after a while ..
It seems that some messages made it crash cause if I delete the latest
message, then offlineimap will work again.

the code is in python so it will be a bit easier to debug...

synchronising more than one account doesn't work for me unlike what is
explained in the documentation

I do not have much experience with c-client. I did work on uw-imap

I will focus my effort offlimeimap because it works most of the time
