#2 use \r\n instead of \n inside msinfo files?

Trying to use mailsync to sync my working imap mail
(netscape/iplanet) to my home Linux imap (cyrus).
Synchronization
work OK if I write msinfo file on disk, but I fail to
write it on either
imap. Here the message I get:

>Error: Can't append thistime to msinfo >
>"{mail.fridu.homelinux.net/user=pl89586/ssl/novalidate-cert}mailsync"

It looks like both Cyrus and iPlanet refuse the msinfo
format because
line end with base '\n' and not with the official "\r\n".

Question: Is there a way to bypass this.
