After upgrading to version 0.8 with TB 24.6.0, my status bar at the bottom no longer shows status. It just has a display of unread and total messages on the left. Gone is the progress bar, activity information ("Opening Inbox", etc), and URLs when hovering over a link. If I disable this extension, the status bar behaves as it should. My platform is MacOS 10.9.4.

I noticed the same issue. I am also using TB 24.6.0 w/ mailredirect 0.8 on MacOS 10.9.4.

Note that by downgrading back to 0.7.8, the problem goes away.

I think this is caused by a bug in Thunderbird: Apparently I check too early to see if the mail redirect button should be enabled or disabled. I've added an extra condition to the check to work around the problem, so the status bar remains functional.

Can you please download latest version (0.8.1) from sourceforge and verify that the problem is indeed fixed for TB24.6?
