I'm testing MailManager 2.0.1rc1 with mysql.
Often in the tickets list tickets are shown many times.
I think the problem is in multiple records inserted into mm_ticket_index database table.
What this is caused by?
How can I avoid it?
Problem seems solved in version 2.0.1rc2.
Sorry but the problem it's back again.
Is there someone who knows what causes it?
How can we try to solve it?
Do you have any more details on what has caused the problem to reoccur? The problem is due to the ticket index cache for MySQL being out of sync with the ticket data. In order to use MySQL's text search, we need to use MyISAM tables in the database, which are not suitable for the rest of the data in MailManager. As a result, we have to keep the data in the MyISAM table and the InnoDB tables in sync manually. It is possible that we have failed to maintain this consistency at some point of the code - say deleting a ticket fails to delete from the cache.
Knowing what operations you have done on tickets which result in them having duplicate entries would help enormously, if you know. Otherwise, we will be doing more testing on this code when we apply for MySQL certification relatively soon.
