#318 Error during migration to MySQL

Migration (40)
Ron Goodwin

I have installed MySQL server 4.1.11. When I select
migrate the tables are created then I get a blank
screen with the following line:

Invalid integer value for id

When I look at the tables, only the mm_ticket_index
table has an entry (one single entry with an id and
null for the other 2 fields).

Any ideas?

Could you give me a a copy of the traceback from the error
log under the ZMI? That will let us see what is causing the
issue. This might be a dataset issue - there were some
relatively unconstrained values in the zodb in 1.1, which
are occasionally causing issues migrating to 2.0.

I'm afraid the fix for this bug has not made it into the latest
release. This ticket is being updated to indicate that it's
still an open problem with the the current version.

We will get around to fixing it soon, though!

Well, I am very disappointed, considering I have been
waiting since being promised a MySQL version in May 2005.

The latest 2.0.4 release announcement would indicate nothing
is going to happen before Xmas.

This was an issue were getNextMessageId.zsql returned a 'null' under MySQL
    instead of a 0.
