#18 Magpie cannot Get Past an Our Proxy

I am new to magpie and PHP but I was able to install
both PHP 5.x and Magpie on an Apache 2.2.2 server.
Problem is my server is behind a corporate firewall.
When I take my server outside the firewall, Magpie
works successfully. When I place it back behind the
firewall, it is unable to reach any RSS feeds.

The IT dept gave me an address to a proxy.pac but how
do you configure magpie or PHP or Apache to go through
a corporate firewall? I have the proxy address I am
supposed to use but no idea where to put it
