This patch adds another parameter to rss_fetch.inc - to
the function fetch_rss. It's an optional associative
array containing postdata, and it gets passed to
_fetch_remote_file, which looks to see if it's
populated and if it is, calls snoopy's submit function
rather than the fetch function, which essentially
causes a POST.
I wrote about this to the mailing list but didn't
realise it was a subscribers-only-can-post list.
