Magpie does one thing (very well)- fetches a single RSS feed and parses it into arrays so you can do things with it. That said, the easiest way to achieve some of this is to use a third party service that allows you to "mix" multiple RSS feeds into one collection, which than itself is re-syndicated as a new RSS feed (which you can then parse with Magpie). I explored as many of these as I could find: http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/cdb/2005/10/12/rss-mixers/ But if you really want to manipulate data, you may need to code your own-- you may take a look at the Feed on Feeds code: http://feedonfeeds.com/ or Planet Planet: http://www.planetplanet.org/ -- \\ alan levine (ala...@do...) // "once geologist, now technologist" \\ maricopa community colleges, arizona // mcli web: http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/ \\ cogdogblog: http://cogdogblog.com/ // running a half-marathon: http://dommy.com/ihaterunning |
