You need other packages to be installed (example for ubuntu 20):

 sudo apt install -y libcairo2 libtiff5 libnetcdf-dev x11-xserver-utils

Also tweak configuration (substitute your netcdf version for libnetcdf.so.15)
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnetcdf.so.15 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnetcdf.so.13
