[Madwifi-users] Problem with NETGEAR WG511 + MADWIFI

Hi all,

I have a linux system in a compag laptop (kernel : 2.4.18-14 and 
pcmcia-cs version 3.2.1).

I complied MADWIFI and got the three modules.

wlan.o and  ath_hal.o have been insmoded correctely but I could not 
insmod the ath_pci.o module:

$insmode driver/ath_pci.o : init_module: No such device

When I inser the NETGEAR WG511 card I got the following message (from 
dmesg) :

cs: cb_alloc(bus3) : vendor 0x1260, device 0x3890
PCI: Failed to allocate resource 0(40400000-402fffff) for 03:00.0
PCI:Enabling device 03:00.0 (0000 -> 0002)


Note that there is no entry for this card in the /etc/pcmcia/config file
and that "cardctl ident" command shows :
Socket 0:
  no product info available


Any idea is wlecom ?
