For whatever reasons, Matt Foster took down his very good Madwifi-FAQ and replaced it with a redirect to the Madwifi WIKI, which does not include all the material he had up, MASTER mode configuration being one key missing point. There's a cached copy at: http://tux.aditel.org/tiki-view_cache.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mattfoster.clara.co.uk%2Fmadwifi-faq.htm&PHPSESSID=7f9fc2cfdd25e5af28d68a936e64cf98 Googling madwifi master mode turns up quite a bit of stuff, including an article on setting up a D-Link DWL-G650 as an access point: http://www.alphacore.net/spipen/article.php3?id_article=5 Dig around and you'll find stuff about setting it up as an SSL-based tunnel, probably more secure than WPA even. Good luck and HTH! |
