Hi Daniel, I've repeated crashs for madwifi-ng-r1474-20060314 in AP mode and I've stored console outputs. When the same tests were performed for madwifi-ng-r1538-20060502 it was STABLE and at all rates and both data directions. Tested with two cards CM9 and sparklan WL-760A. All is described at my web http://www.simandl.cz/stranky/linux/atheros/atherose.htm http://www.simandl.cz/stranky/linux/atheros/atheros.htm I've used netperf for data transfers and hotsanic for graphing. For me and my FC5 test setup it seems to be stable now. Many thanks Petr Daniel Wu napsal(a): > > Hi, > I looked through those pics, but its not very helpful since its missing > some of the kernel panics. > > Please take a look at http://madwifi.org/wiki/DevDocs/KernelOops > <http://madwifi.org/wiki/DevDocs/KernelOops> > and see how to try and grab the whole panic. > > thanks. > > On 4/28/06, *Wang wenjuan* <wwj...@gm... > <mailto:wwj...@gm...>> wrote: > > Hi, > I've found this problem too in madwifi-ng-r1531-20060426. > > Xscale 4xx, linux 2.6.10, ap mode; > Always hung in down stream throughput test by NETIQ, and up steam is > good; > > BTW:Old madwifi version down stream test is good too. > > > 2006/4/26, Daniel Wu <dy...@gm... <mailto:dy...@gm...>>: > > 1474 is a pretty old version, > please use the latest revision from svn. > > > > On 4/26/06, *Petr Simandl* <si...@mu... > <mailto:si...@mu...> > wrote: > > Hi all, > > short version: > I've found that the router in AP mode hangs under high data > flows. > Reproduced with madwifi-ng-r1474-20060314 and > madwifi-ng-0.9.4.5 on my > test PC.
