I'm setting up an ad-hoc network where there are some 802.11b stations
(not that I care if they join). Is it a problem to force a station with
the madwifi driver to be 802.11g via iwpriv ath0 mode 3? That is, will
the 802.11b stations just not join? The reason I ask is that the
madwifi station I refer to above runs for about 10 minutes and then
hardlocks when in 802.11g mode, but runs fine when in 802.11b mode.
Haven't tried auto mode yet though...
