I have a few of the 7020's. I don't know Ubuntu, but the kernel is the
problem. 2.6.10 changed some things with ACPI and irq's or
... something. It doesn't deal with the hardware in the machine
correctly. I would have to look it up exactly what, I just fixed it
and tried to forget the whole thing.
It can be fixed with boot options, something like:
"idebus=66 acpi=force pci=routeirq acpi=noirq pci=usepirqmask"
pci=routeirq pci=usepirqmask are the two required if you don't force
Better is to use 2.6.9, it worked great. or 2.6.11.
2.6.10 was bad on the 7020ct, just say no!
