I have been using Madwifi for a long time now and I was just wondering
if I have to take into account countrycode/regdomain issues. After
reading what says here:
I did (CM9 card) 'sysctl -a | grep country' and 'sysctl -a | grep
regdomain' and got:
voyage:~# sysctl -a | grep country
dev.wifi0.countrycode = 0
dev.ath.countrycode = 0
voyage:~# sysctl -a | grep regdomain
dev.wifi0.regdomain = 0
I guess '0' is an universal code. Does this mean there are no
restrictions (power, channels, etc) for this code?
Sorry if this a silly question but I would like to know if I am doing ok
