What I would like to do is to improve the data throughput over my
wireless connection and would like to know what factors affect the quality?
Using iperf the results show a transfer rate of about 16.5-17.5 Mb/s

The distance between the access point and the madwifi card is about two
metres but the signal either has to through a wall stub or round it.
Changing the Antenna Diversity doesn't make any noticeable difference.
What I'm wondering is what can be done to improve the data rates, any
pointers would be gratefully received.
The small problem that I have is that the module does not always load
correctly between boots, this happens only on a cold boot.
