when i am running snmp agent, it is prompting the message that "
snmpd: ath0: Operation not supported ".How do I make net-snmp to
support ath0 interface, because when i give wifi0, it is working fine.
If any body faced the same problem, please let me know the soloution
for this problem.

Should work out-of-the box. What does:
snmpwalk -v 1 -Os -c public localhost if
you should see something like:
ifDescr.X = STRING: ath0
Where X is a number.
You should be able to see the network interfaces and then one of them
will point to ath0
snmpget -v 1 -Os -c public localhost ifPhysAddress.X
will return the MAC address of the madwifi card.
If this doesn't work then you should google to find out how to set up
