Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 4.8.00 (0490)
I know the vpn parts work okay with my linksys wired pcmcis etherenet
card. The newer version of the client is required to work with Linux
kernels greater than or equal 2.6.14.
I can authenticate to the vpn when using ath0 and it send me data for
resolv.conf etc. However When I do simple things like DNS lookups or
telnets I see the outgoing packets on the cipsec0 interface using
tethereal but never any responses.
I read the wiki section, "How do I get the Cisco VPN client to work with
I tried the second suggestion to no avail.
I'm not sure how to go about debugging this or if its a known problem.
I will look for help here before opening a ticket.
