I am trying to compute the processing delay for downstream data frames
(frames sent from AP to client) within madwifi. Basically, assume that a
downstream frame is received by the driver at time T1 and then it
proceeds to enqueue the frame and then HAL sends it out. Subsequently,
the "tx complete" tasklet will get called and within it, the hardware
timestamp for successful transmission will be present, say T2. So, the
processing delay is (T2 - T1).
My question is that if there are multiple packets enqueued into the
hardware queue, how do we correlate their respective T2's and T1's ? Is
it based on the mac address of the client? But, what if there are 2
frames for the same client?
