I need to find out one of the following:
- how many times a packet had to be retried
- how long the process of "sending a packet" (including wait time, RTS,
CTS, retries, whatever) took
Until now I found out the following:
After the TX interrupt (i.e. when a frame was sent) the struct
ar5212_desc contains information the retries with different rates.
Mysteriously the retry counts (xmit_triesX) and the ones in the struct
ath_desc (ds_txstat.ts_shortretry and ds_txstat.ts_longretry) are not
consistent. Does anyone know why this happens/which one is valid/what
I'm doing wrong?
The ar5212_desc structure also contains information about the timing
("when" the packet was sent as opposed to "how long" it took). Is there
any way to find out how long sending a packet took?
Thanks a lot,
