A perhaps lazy problem, but do a search for my previous posts on how to dia=
gnose the "stuck beacon problem", hint: look for "SBP".

Subject: [Madwifi-devel] Problems in AP mode under high load (DWL-G520)
i'm using DWL-G520 cards (Atheros 5112 chipset, H/W Ver: B2, F/W Ver:
3.1.6) with latest CVS driver in AP mode.=20
With one client everything is fine, transfer rate is at 22-23Mbit/s
level (not as good as with Intersil-based cards (prism54), but
However when one of the associated clients begin non-stop transmission
at full speed, other immediately have problems with accessing AP -
randomly lost and recover connection, speed changes randomly in 1-54M
range, data connection is unusable.=20
It seems that AP card process MGMT frames from other stations with lower
priority, or something like this...
After burst transfer is finished everything goes back to normal state
until next burst.
I just wonder if this is bug (or feature) of this particular DWL-G520
model or Atheros chipset in general?
Also, can you recommend good Atheros chipset based card known to work in
thanks in advance,
