Hi Stasi,
Which rate did you use in the monitor mode? And, you can set the rate per frame by set the tx descriptor before transmitting the frame to the hardware queue.

Hi everyone,
I'm using the monitor mode with Click modular router and elements developed
for roofnet project in order to implement a routing algorithm for mesh
networks.
The problem is the speed... the nodes can't transmit faster than 4 Mbit/s;
this happens only in monitor mode; if I set radios in Ad-hoc mode I can get
up to 17-18 Mbit/s (I could get more, the problem in this case is the
implementation).
Is there a way to set speed in monitor mode?

I'm using:
wlan: 0.9.4
ath_pci: 0.9.4
ath_rate_sample: 1.2 (0.9.4)

I'm using these nics:
00:0e.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5006X 802.11abg
NIC (rev 01)
00:0f.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5006X 802.11abg
NIC (rev 01)

Thanks
