I have an TP-link PCMCIA card, based on AR5212 chip. I wan to use this card to make some measurement of wifi channel bit error probability.

I read some howto-s, and a write to the console:

To create an virtual monitor interface:
#wlanconfig ath1 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode monitor
#ifconfig ath1 up

After that I want to view packet, what have any problem, so:

#echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/monitor_crc_errors
#echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/monitor_phy_errors

In this time, I run a wireshark capture to see the packets and saw, it's look like goods.

Next to the peacon frames, and other communication on the channel, I found, malformad packets.

My problem is, this malformed packets only 140byte, and the wireshark don't show any information, that data is come on, with this packets.

Is there any chanse, to make a measurement to see brokened packet's with information?

This capture was made with:
Ubuntu Gutsy and Hardy ( beta ) too. I use an WRT54GL accesspoint with tomato firmware and the wlan card is an TP-link 610g

Thank's for any help.
