I dug around some more and found the web page that tells me I need to 
USB driver for MacXM to work. Now I have it - and MacXM is working 
beautifully!

(I think folks need more explicit instruction that they need this 
driver as well as MacXM itself).

I LOVE the iTunes Music Store button!
