TeXDist

There are 2 versions of the TeXDist preference pane

version 250 is for OS X 10.9 (mavericks)

version 271 is for OS X 10.10 (yosemite)

Installation is straightforward, double click to install.
It is highly recommended to quit the preference application before installing a new pane,
particularly when it is an upgrade.

To check whether the installed preference pane works correctly,
open a terminal window and enter the commands

cd /usr/texbin
pwd -P

each time you select a new distribution in the preference pane,
the last command reflects the change.
