When I first got my MBP C2D I tested this a lot in OS X and I think that I got something like 5% battery drain in 8 hrs (that's the figure that comes to mind). This corresponds to what someone who had an iBook once told me. I sometimes leave my MBP disconnected over night and I'm pretty sure this is what I see. Is it possible that this is different in Linux? As far as I understood once you're actually suspended it doesn't make a difference which OS you started in -- I don't remember where I read this but I thought it was true. cheers, Sheer |
