OK, scratch that. CONFIG_APPLEIR depends on CONFIG_INPUT_MISC, which
was disabled. However, I can not enable CONFIG_INPUT_MISC anymore in
make menuconfig. It only depends on !S390 and INPUT, and both
conditions are fulfilled. Strange...
