I haven't booted anything except a very minimal initrd, so I haven't
tried X yet. Today I am going to try to modify the ubuntu live CD by
adding a new kernel with mini support. I'll email the list if that
happens to let people know what I find.

The ethernet card definitely does work; I was able to get an IP
address and ping stuff on my internal network (and connect to
services). I have heard the wireless can work also but I haven't tried
that yet.
