[Mactel-linux-devel] Telling the difference between different models

DMI lets us tell the difference between different classes of Intel Mac 
fairly easily (imac, mac mini, macbook), but isn't terribly helpful when 
it comes to determining which specific model (eg, 17" or 20") we have 
access to. It would be helpful if we could either:

a) probe the size of the LCD directly, or
b) at least be able to tell the difference between the same models but 
with different sized screens

I haven't been able to find any way to do this yet. Has anyone else had 
any success?
