[Mactel-linux-users] Waking up a Macbook Pro (1.1)

What do people use to wake p their Macbook Pro when the machine is in
a place where you don't want to open it (e.g. it's used as a desktop,
connected to an external display and keyboard)?

I've enabled everything I can find in /proc/acpi/wakeup, but my machine
still doesn't want to wake up upon pressing a key or a mouse button.
It does wake up upon inserting a USB device, tho, so maybe I could find
some kind of special USB device with just a single button that lets me
connect/disconnect it (having to unplug&replug a mouse isn't my idea of
fun).

In reality, tho, I'd really prefer to wake up my Macbook Pro with
a remote control.  Has anyone managed to wake up their Macbook Pro with
the Apple Remote?
