Hi Tino, I got kms working for me on a Macbook 1,1 together with an external monitor via DVI. I use kernel 2.6.31-rc2, Xorg Server 1.6.2 and the intel driver 2.7.99.901. I have a similar line in dmesg: "[drm] TV-16: set mode NTSC 480i 0", seems like it deals with an imaginary TV there. Everything works with this setup, faster than ever. Got the following message repeated in dmesg though: i2c-adapter i2c-3: unable to read EDID block. i915 0000:00:02.0: DVI-D-1: no EDID data regards, Jannis Tino Keitel wrote: > Hi folks, > > I'm currently trying to get Kernel Mode Setting (KMS) to work on my Mac > mini Core2 Duo, using the latest kernel from git, Xserver 1.6.2 and > intel driver 2.8-rc2 (aka 2.7.902).
