First I need to know how I can even try to make it work, e.g. how to
start grub2 from rEFIt and get a text usable console on my Mac mini.
This thread is about too much stuff, too much scenarios on several Mac
models (desktops, laptops, 32 bit, 64 bit), so I hardly can see where
to start with.
