[Mactel-linux-devel] Light sensor error - MBP

Hi,
I having a problem with /sys/devices/platform/applesmc.768/light
Doing a cat to the file results in a "cat: light: Input/output error".

This prevents pommed from working.

I have a macbook pro (bought last week, so I think it is 4), and I am
using kernel 2.6.25-11 (Fedora 9) (but tried the 2.6.26 with the same
result).

What's the problem? Is there any workaround?
