It's an as yet unsolved problem with the kernel i believe.  The =20
livecd won't work because of its use of textmode.efi.  If you combine =20=

it with rEFIt you can get it to load, but the kernel still hangs.

but, do the osxbook and mactel kernel patches differ in the EFI
support and the frame buffer driver.. correct?
In both cases the problem exists?
Can't wait for my macbook to look into it
