I finally have a working macmini with a 1280x1024 console and a
I use the vesa-tng kernel driver to get the console, and the latest
(untested ~x86) xorg 7.0 and i810 1.6.0 driver for X.
Everything works like a charm! I encourage doing a stage1 install with
these cflags in make.conf:
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium-m -msse3 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe"
