[Mactel-linux-users] Audio line in on Mac mini Core 2 Duo

Hi folks,

I noticed that I can not record from line in anymore with kernel 2.6.29
and above (at least up to 2.6.30-rc3) anymore. I don't get a usable
line in level. It works with 2.6.27. Does anyone noticed the same and
found a way to fix this?

Of cause, I already spent some time in the mixer trying to adjust the
mixer settings, without luck.

Hi Tino,

   afaik the mac mini (including mine) requires the line in to be
external powered. A common mic will not work. Have you considered that
your line in source is low on batteries or so?

No, because the same setup runs fine with 2.6.27.
