I'm trying to make elilo boot my linux kernel but I can't make it work.
I placed elilo in the file /e.efi (on my efi partition) and the
configuration file in /linux/elilo.conf. The paths in elilo.conf are
relative to /linux in the efi partition.
When I choose to run elilo from refit menu, I get the "Load Error"
message without any more information describing the error :/
If I try to run elilo from the EFI shell, it doesn't seems to work (I
even wonder if I know how to launch an application from the EFI shell).
When I type `e' or `e.efi' from the shell in the directory fs0:\ (fs0
is the EFI partition) I just get a blank line and again the prompt. No
error message, nothing.
If I type err (I think that show the return status, errorlevel) t tells
me that the error is 0x80000000. And it highlights the constant
I tried this both with hand compiled versions of elilo and the 32bits
binary file from elilo website w/o any changes here.
I looked at the elilo source and I couldn't find where the EFI_D_ERROR
could be returned. I looked at the gnu-efi headers used and the
constant 0x80000000, it was related to the D_ERROR constant which i
wasn't able to find in the elilo source.
Could you halp me ?
By the way, do you know any free implementation of the EFI shell that
can be compiled with linux ? So i could change the keymapping that
doesn't suits my french keyboard
