initial probs - video - for some reason the output is garbled in X
(with prop. drivers), if the depth is set to higher than 16 bit then
there is a crash when killing X or going to text mode .. X also thinks
that there is twice as much ram (512 insted of 256) .. i tried to fix
that using the VideoRam directive in x but there is no diff ... I also
tried the latest driver and one of the legacy driver packages (the
latter did not work at all) ... ethernet and sound seemed to work fine
along with usb and firewire (2.6.22 , mactel patched) . Video worx ok
with the nv drivers ... the box seems to run fairly hot but the fans
are staying quiet ...
