I want to use the AppleSMC sensors with lm-sensors. I found the following
patch on the mailing-list. Is it still needed?
If so, why isn't is in the mactel patches?

Let the applesmc device export its address to userspace. libsensors
needs this to recognize the device and give it a unique ID.
