MacSSH should support UTF-8 mode, which
allows the display of characters from the entire
Unicode character set. A great overview of the
issues can be found at:

unicode.html#term
At the very least, this means adding "UTF-8"" to the
list of character set translations, and support
MacRoman, MacGreek, MacCyrillic, etc fonts. It will
probably require a rewrite of the character
translation engine, since it's not a byte-to-byte
translation. The Mac OS has included character set
translation services for some time now, which may
help.
