Apple's terminal app does have some nice features, like dragging and dropping folders or files to get paths typed on the command line, but wow, it feels like going back to using a typewriter after using a computer to use Terminal after being spoiled by MacSSH. Macros are just one big huge reason.
So, how hard is it to Carbonize something?

I second the idea. When using Apple's Terminal
application, I really end up missing the convenience of
MacSSH.

Yup. The OSX teminal package doesn't even support drag and drop
between terminal windows. Arrrgh! It SUCKS!
