things like up arrow produces the previous
command, and making the arrow keys work in vi
etc

don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, I LOVE IT, worked
without a hitch when loging a "ls -R" at root, saved
a 3.7mb text file. Did i mention that I LOVE IT?
