Pardon if this is a neophite question...
When authorizing to my server with MacSSH, my server (OpenSSH 3.1) generates the message:
userauth_pubkey: unsupported public key algorithm: spki-sign-rsa. (I used a RSA key in MacSSH)
I am then able to provide a password and things are fine. How do I get cert authorization to work? Does MacSSH allow me to select the public key algorithm?
SSH2 lets the client negociate a list of authentication methods. spki-sign-rsa is simply another method for authentication using public key infrastructure, and is unknown to OpenSSH (yet).
But you can safely ignore the server message.
