When CVS port forwarding, MacSSH performs CR/LF
conversion on the data stream. This will corrupt binary
files and also breaks the CVS client/server protocol as
described in the CVS client/server protocol spec.
Erm, I can't really explain why this seems to work with
MacCVS (my guess would be that the CVS protocol
implementation in there is less strict than the spec).
But I would suspect that binary files break when being
copied to or from the repository.

    Hello Jrg,

    This is a duplicate of the closed bug 548375. Here's the
    workaround:
    Try adding the option "--no-pty" in the lsh arguments
    field of your favorite. this may be related to CR/LF
    conversion.
    I've added this implicit option in the pre-fc4 available here:
