That wold definitely be the preferred way, I just suggested listing them as separate sources to start with as I thought it would be a pain to merge them. But in the end it would be great if they would be merged and create one super library. But I guess we need to start somewhere... Hi everyone, Conny entered an issue in Jira to make CS manage multiple (iPhoto/ iTunes) libraries. The question is: how do we manage the items ? Do we show separate hierarchy or a merged one ? I think we must merge all handled libraries. This would make the browsing much nicer, and who cares about knowing in which library an item is ? Examples: Browse your music by Artist: display all albums of this artist (pick data in all libraries) Browse TV show by season: Shows all episodes of your TV shows merged from iTunes and BackStage. Browser Movies library: shows all movies from BackStage and iTunes. Comments ? Fabien |

So how do we leave the DVD player then (before we have the OSD menu)? Long menu press? Hi everyone, When you "get" ;) a TV show file, it's name is always containing usefull metadata that we would have to add to BackStage manually for proper display in CenterStage. Heroes-S1E19-XXXXX.avi Heroes-119-XXXXX.avi meaning Heroes, Season 1, Episode 19. The format may be different between shows, but it's often the same through episodes of the same show. A nice feature I'd like is an auto extraction of these data when automatically imported in BackStage. But there are many possibilities for name format, and testing all is difficult and would lead to missed interpretations. Why don't we specifiy the format in a file into the containing folder ? This could be therefore made automatically (no user inputs in BackStage). So, in a folder we could have an image of the name of the folder (for folder artwork), and a CSName.txt file containing "%T-S%SE%E" int the case of "Heroes-S1E19-XXXXX.avi" "%T.%S%E" in the case of "Heroes-119-XXXXX.avi" where we would consider 119 as Season 1 Eps 19 because 1 < 19 and 11 > 9 Comments ? Hi everyone, I've been working on the inputs and I wonder what to do with the menu button in DVD playback. Should it exit from fullscreen (as it does now) or should it go to the DVD menu (like any DVD player). In the next version, we will have our nice OSD menu, but for now, what do we do ? Fabien P.S.: Nice week-end for CenterStage. Here are the svn logs :D fixed CS-182: BS imdb data lookup broken fixed CS-178:Display feedback when CS is booting Added some breadcrumb stuff. [CS] fixed CS-145: Rework the whole input scheme to have intuitive inputs (keyboard/remote) [CS] fixed CS-135: Display feedback when using keyboard or remote on fullscreen mode |
