OK, this feature request is asking for a lot. But it
would make follow-up to key signing parties so much
easier. :-)
The command "sign and notify owner" would allow me to
sign with an exportable key and then send the key to
the owner, so that he can upload the key to a keyserver
(or not).
The command would export the signed key, encrypt it
with the owners public key and create an e-mail message
(in mail.app) with that encrypted and signed key
attached or inline with a message like:
"Dear NAME <EMAIL>, here is your signed PGP key KEYID.
I did not upload it to a keyserver, this will be your
task. Since this mail is encrypted, and you managed to
read this text, I consider this email address valid. In
case your key has several user ids, I've sent a
separate mail to each address, containing only the
corresponding signature. (This gives you also the
chance to upload only specific signatures if you don't
want my signature on all your user ids.)"
And of course the E-Mails should be properly addressed
to the owner (with bcc to me) and wait in mail.app's
outbox.
Or something like that :)
