#6 MacDing v4 fails to launch fully on OSX 10.6.2

After downloading MacDing v4, unzipping, and depositing in Applications, double clicking the icon fails to fully launch the program.

No interface is displayed, but app is partially loaded in memory (scrolling between open apps shows MacDing).

When focus is put on MacDing, the word "MacDing" appears in the toolbar across the top of the screen, but there is no associated menu beneath it.

Force quitting the app is the only way to close it (although when force quitting no message stating the app is unusable is displayed).

Have tried both the version with the built-in dictionary and the version with no dictionary.
