I installed Deja Dup and cannot find the "File" menu by which the app knows where to look for the storage media. Or any other user configurable options.
Please download g2gm.tar.gz. Gnome 2 GlobalMenu in Ubuntu 10.10
I had, prior to posting the above query about "file menus" & McBuntu, removed (./uninstall.sh) MacBuntu. On seeing your post about the patch, I reinstalled McBuntu and on calling Gourmet Recipe Manager (GRM), it opened with a file menu. I closed GRM and installed the patch (g2gm.tar.gz) and re-called GRM. The file menu is now gone. Do I now uninstall the whole McBuntu and reinstall Mcbuntu w/o the patch or what?
So, I did a complete uninstall, then re-installed the McBuntu-10.10. Once it was up & running I called GRM. No file (ribbon bar). Next I added the patch g2gm. It ran, gave a word about 10.04 vs. 10.10 and exited. I called GRM & no ribbon bar. If there is something I can run to give you info or help, so that I can get my apps working, please let me know. thanks.
