MacBiff will crash consistently if the configuration option "Check Mail Delay" is set to 0.
Then you have to manually re-launch MacBiff, and the delay will be back to the default of 5.

Added some measures to prevent the setting of mail delay to zero in 1.1.14. However, MacBiff still crashes if you set the delay to zero then hit enter (instead of pressing OK). Will work on a fix for the next release, thus I'm leaving this item open for the time being.
