I have two accounts configured on MacBiff, one for the local imap server and one for Gmail. Every time I launch MacBiff it tells me that "Login to Gmail failed", even if the password saved in the KeyChain is correct. If i reenter the same password it works (updating Keychain). Dunno if it is a problem with Gmail or a problem with the second account, I'll check if it is necessary.

I've been experiencing this intermittently as well with 1.1.14, and not just with Gmail. I'm working on it!

Same behavior here with *any* IMAP(s) account since updating to 1.1.14. Just thought I'd throw my $0.02 in.

    :-)

It looks like I inadvertently broke something while doing code cleanup for 1.1.14. Rolled back those changes for 1.1.15, which fixes the problem for me. Let me know if it works on your end as well so I can officially close this item.

I am having this problem. I downloaded MacBiff for the first time ever today, and it will connect to my GMail account the first time, and then not every time after that (when it's pulling the password out of the keychian).

I added the previous comment - I should note that I was using version 1.1.15.

This is the first report of keychain issues with 1.1.15. Is the issue present with other IMAP accounts, or just Gmail?

It may help to clean the slate in the Keychain. Try opening Keychain Access.app and searching for Gmail's IMAP server. Delete the all the Gmail password items (there may be more than one) and restart MacBiff.
